Did you, like me, fall victim to the Serial phenomenon? I listened weekly and in the two days leading up to the finale, re-listened to every episode. Did you think the ending was anticlimactic too? Hopefully the next season is more conclusive; that's all I have to say on the matter.
I love podcasts -- I've been listening to RadioLab since being introduced in 2010. I think I've listened to every single episode of RadioLab. I have favorites and least-favorites, and I don't think I will ever stop loving Jad Abumrad. I have since discovered (through friend's recommendations, and on my own) many other podcasts that I really love rotating through. I thought I'd list them out for anyone looking for something new to listen to in the hopes of getting a few new recommendations. Happy listening!
Bizarre States: If you're into creepy, spooky stuff. Some of the listener stories are chilling.
Invisibilia: An NPR podcast that explores the invisible workings of life. It's new (started in January this year) and really interesting. One of the episodes was featured on RadioLab!
This American Life: Ira Glass. That is all. (Lulu Miller also does quite a few stories and she's an Invisibilia host/badass lady. Now that's all.)
Criminal: This show is like a short-form Serial. Each episode explores a story under the theme Criminal. There are some really bizarre stories.
If you guys have any recommendations for me, please leave 'em in the comments!
